Walking without a limp
I was involved in a car crash, June 1976. One of my injuries was a broken left ankle, and the tendons and ligaments were snapped. This left me with my left leg an inch shorter that my right. I was unable to walk without a limp when in my bare feet. This meant I could only wear certain shoes, no boots, sandals or trainers. If I wore shoes with large heels I was left in pain for days. It also left me with arthritis in my ankle. Any activities out of the ordinary meant pain killers and the ankle needed strapping up and resting. Most days I was in pain. In 2002 after a service of healing the pain stopped, no more pain killers praise God. In 2004 I was going to a wedding and wanted to wear some nice shoes I ordered them in faith. While in Park Road church God told me to jump- after a while I did this in worship on Sunday- Tuesday the shoes arrived they fitted and I could walk in them praise God. While in Newcastle on the Thursday morning I was explaining to my cell group as they had never seen me limp. I took off my shoes and walked bare foot across the floor without a limp praise God. I now have worn all kinds of shoes, boots and bare feet. My leg is still an inch shorter and still has snapped ligaments and tendons but I walk without a limp.
