Healing of broken bones

Steve is an old friend of Rob Joy back in Rob’s home town. Rob has kept in close contact with Steve who has increasingly shown signs of coming through to the Lord with the help of Rob’s persistent evangelism but they have always been friends even back in the day when Rob shared a jail cell with him. Steve is a character however with a past as bad as, if not worse than Rob’s. Heavily into the drug dealing scene, a part time boxer and fighter and owner of a gym, Steve is a tough character.
One night however, he came up to Newcastle for a mate’s stag party. The night however turned sour when there was a dispute between Steve’s lot and a group of bouncers at a nightclub. After a great deal of commotion Steve ended up punching and knocking out one of the bouncers. Chaos ensued and seven of the doormen managed to grab Steve and drag him up an alleyway where they proceeded to lay into him with various kicks and blows. Steve was taken to hospital and was admitted with only a suspected broken collarbone and fractured eye socket, a miracle in itself. However the next day the pain of his shoulder was proving to be too much to handle for the Southern fighter and he got straight on the phone to Rob Joy who of course immediately offered to pray for him. After teaching him the basics on forgiving others and letting go of revenge and bitterness, Rob prayed for his shoulder and Steve reluctantly agreed to take Rob’s advice.
An hour or so later Steve rang Rob back to ask him another favour. To see if he could pray for his eye, as his shoulder was completely healed and pain free!
Steve left the hospital later that day to return home and has since opened up to the gospel message and calls Rob on a daily basis for help and advice. God has done many more things for Steve since then and he has been so impacted by the various supernatural experiences that not only did he have a large portrait picture of Jesus tattooed onto his left shoulder but he also is seriously considering getting another on his forearm reading “Not by might, nor by Power, but by my spirit says the LORD” as a permanent testimonial reminder to him and others of Jesus’ amazing power.
