Arthritic hand healed
After a successful outreach event in a small church in Harlesdon, London Rob Joy and his small team were helping the church pack up the equipment and close down for the night. With a successful night already the church had seen salvations and deliverances and many people touched by God. Just around about midnight a homeless lady wandered in off the street. She sat down on one of the chairs as some of the ministry team came over to speak to her. Known to some of the church already, they quickly got her some food and a drink. She was around about 60 or so and her mind appeared to be moving into a state of slow deterioration, although she was still able to communicate well enough to hold some sort of conversation. One of the ministry team whilst speaking to her noticed her right arm, which appeared to be stiff and seized, right the way down to her fingers, probably due to many nights lay on the cold streets. They decided they would ask if they could pray. She seemed unconcerned and agreed, obviously just enjoying the warmth and food. After failed attempts to gently help open the hand physically whilst praying they continued to pray for the next few minutes as the lady carried on a conversation with the person sat next to her, almost seemingly oblivious to the prayer going on. After a few short minutes had passed they stopped praying and went to move on. But suddenly the lady looked at her own hand and started moving her fingers. A beaming smile suddenly filled her face and she pulled back the people who had been praying and began to stop people walking past who were tidying. “My hand! Look at my hand!” she said as she opened and closed her fingers and people stopped what they were doing to inspect the healing. Unexpectedly and miraculously healed.
