Healing on the Streets (HOTS)
Bethshan is part of Together in Christ as a group of more than 40 Churches that come together on Tyneside to jointly extend the Kingdom of God. As a united face for the wider 'Church' in Tyneside every Saturday afternoon on the streets in public we offer prayer for healing. There have been some remarkable healings and salvations as people have encountered the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Some recent testimonies
We prayed with a young woman having some problems with her pregnancy and were able to lead her through a salvation prayer. As she lives in Wallsend where Paul Fenwick's church meets I introduced her to him and discovered that her husband had just been led to the Lord and was already chatting with Paul. Praise God for His amazing divine appointments!

This is my first experience of working together with other churches, and as I looked on I felt God speak directly into my heart and I saw through his eyes the body of Christ working together as one. I felt God showing me that this is the way it has to be: all churches working together in unity. What an experience and priveledge to witness his work! Norma Donaldson (Mind the Gap Methodist church Gateshead)
I was part of a team who prayed for about 6 people during the day, one of them was a man who first came for prayer last week and found his shoulder was much better, so he came back for more prayer and now he now had more movement than he had. Also a man called Tony who was a backslidden Christian who wanted to recommit his life to Jesus. It was a privilege to be able to share with him that God still loves him, and can forgive and accept him if he turns back to him in repentance, which he was very happy to do. Phil Aitken (Whitley Bay Baptist)
I felt my heart come alive this week as we stepped back onto the streets. A girl with eczema began her journey to healing, testifying to the pain and itching going after receiving prayer. A lady who was concerned for the safety of her children all of whom struggled with alcohol, received prayer and left encouraged and in a place of peace and freedom. The love of God and his life within us was powerfully impacting the people of our city. It was amazing to see a group of six young people, all about 18, give their lives to Christ after receiving healing or seeing their friends receive. I was also really blessed by a council worker who was cleaning up around the monument. He was an evangelist from Tongo and told me that every time he picked up a piece of rubbish he was claiming the healing of the people receiving prayer. Anna Spencer (St Lukes)
Last Saturday, I received healing prayer on behalf of our son, Andy. He has kidney problems which seriously effect his blood pressure. Last Saturday his BP was 178/130 which was causing concern. By Thursday his BP had dropped to 130/80. Praise the Lord! Katie Hawkins (Jesmond Methodist Church)
