Durham Church

Hi there,

As part of the regional vision of Bethshan Church we're so very thrilled to be launching a new service on Sunday morning in Durham. We're launching 'lifeboats' - congregations around the region that exist to see men and women saved from drowning on the 'seas of life'. There is nothing as pressing and urgent as giving people the opportunity to meet Christ Jesus.

We've been meeting in Durham for the last 2 years on a Sunday night in a room in the Student's Union but have outgrown it. We were following what we believed God was asking us to do which was primarily work with students. It has been wonderful seeing students who have never heard of Jesus, or those who grew up knowing about him, finally finding Jesus as Lord of their life and deciding to live their lives for him.

In the last few months we have begun to see men, women and families come to find Jesus from outside of the student body. It really has impacted us deeply the love and devotion of those who have found a Saviour and freedom from their past lives. We are certain God has asked us to plant a Sunday morning service with the intent that more and more people can hear about God's incredible love and kindness shown to us in Christ Jesus.

If you don't know Jesus, have known him and have lost your way, or are a Christian but not established in any church in Durham we would love to meet you. Why don't you come along on a Sunday morning?
