If you’re new to the North East, welcome

With 2010 in sight, it's a time for fresh beginnings here at Bethshan.

If you are new to Bethshan Church, we encourage you to get involved!

With churches located in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham, we want to be a church that caters especially for the student populous in all of the North East university campuses.

We have a great church atmosphere and it's also a great place to meet new friends and form new relationships.

Maybe your a first time visitor to Bethshan and want to know what's happening at large with the church.

Simply either email our offices if you want more info or come along to one of the three services. You won't feel awkward or uncomfortable as there are new people visiting us all the time, so why not pop in one morning?

The service times are as follows:

Newcastle 10:30am, Copthorne Hotel,

(The Close, Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 3RT)

Durham 10:30am, Freemans Quay Leisure Centre

(Walkersgate Durham City, DH1 1SW)

 Sunderland 6pm, House of Prayer

(Next to Mowbray park and directly opposite Sunderland Civic Centre)

Often freshers can lose sight of what’s really important to them in the midst of a busy uni lifestyle. There’s only so much partying or studying someone can do before they begin to question the reasons why they’re doing it at all. Many students can become unhappy when the buzz of freshers week fades and the reality of life begins to set in.

However at Bethshan we realise that students have needs that can’t all be met in the clubs or the classrooms, which is why we’ve introduced certain elements into our ethos that we're sure will help you along in your life both now and for the future.

We believe that the most important element of a person’s life is the relationships they have with God and each other. So much in fact, that we’ve introduced groups and teachings on these important issues in life. When you visit one of the services, simply ask one of our stewards for information on how to get involved.
